Do Pontiac ads instill Vibe pride?

So I saw the first commercial in a while tonite for Pontiac -- still using the Fuel for the Soul campaign slogan, which I think is killer...but just seeing that Vibe fly by and then do the whole turn-and-kick-up-dust thing just gives me a rushing sense of vibe pride...anyone else?

I have seen the lone vibe commercail with the james Brown Music... Its cool just wish it was longer.. Like 10 minutes long or something..Does anyone have a MPG file of the vibe commercial??

Yeah - the Pontiac ads are just below the Mitsubhishi ads. They are way better than the old "meet the vibe" ads that were around when the Vibe was being launched. They get your attention and show some cool cars. The reason I like the mitsubhishi ads so much better is that they don't show a bunch of vehicles spinning out and that they concentrate on one vehicle per ad. Kind of like the old VW commercial that shows a bunch of guys driving around picking up an old recliner and then deciding that it stunk too bad - I liked that one too. I wish they'd do a vibe ad in that mold.

I like the mitsubishi radio ads with that guy and the funny voice -- always has witty lines, and anytime i hear his voice i think "mitusbishi!" they need to define the vibe and give it a good placement in the mind of the consumer...

I have YET to see an ad for the Vibe anywhere (including tv, print, radio...)! Not that I'm a big tv watcher or newspaper reader but geez, you'd think you'd still see the odd one. I've seen double page Pontiac ads in the weekend paper and they NEVER include the Vibe! Guess maybe they don't advertise them because they can't get any to sell? The only way I found out about this car is the first place is from a friend who told me to check out the Matrix at an auto show last spring. Then I started looking on the internet and ended up buying one without even a test drive (did test drive a Matrix). I notice I'm the first Canadian to comment on this post. Perhaps there are more ads shown in the US? Or maybe other parts of Canada? (I'm from Alberta)

I'd say I've got pride in my Vibe. But it didn't come from any Pontiac ad. Most of the pontiac ads I see lately show all of Pontiac's lineup, with the Vibe appearing for only a second or two. My guess is that they are selling Vibes at a faster rate than they are selling the rest of the product line, so don't want to over emphasize it.My Vibe pride come from the time I spent researching it, pondering the color and features I wanted, and haggling with the dealership until I got it for the price I wanted to pay.KSNeptune

Funny you should say that -- I just saw an ad specifically for the vibe. it was all of 10-20 seconds long, but it was schweeeeet!

I think we all have a lot of pride in our Vibe's. I have liked all of the adds so far that I have seen for the Vibe. I really don't care what others think about my car, but I have seen other cars that have dumb adds and that doesn't help the image of the car.

None of the current advertisements have done anything for me. I do like the way http://www.pontiac.com is setup though.

I'm hoping it's a shorter version of the full ad. I think they need to see how many college kids would fit into it at any number of college campuses around the country, film that, and just cut together a highlight reel (with people sticking out of the hatch glass and moonroof).

I love the idea of how many college kids in the Vibe. That is priceless!!!! When I was in Highg school--we got 10 people in my sister's Chevette, I bet I could get at least that many in the Vibe!!!!LOL!!!

If you put down the back seats, and lay them flat, you could fit endless people in!!!!! Don't forget to put down the front passenger seat for those really tall ones...hehehehe

It appears there is very little TV and even less print ads for the Vibe in Canada because why waste money on an ad for a car that you can't keep up the demand for. The wait already seems to be 3-5 months, why develop an larger more frustated customer base. All I see from GM is ads for cars that don't as sell well.

Most of the ads I see are for the Grand Am, whcih, from my understanding, is the biggest selling model in the Pontiac line...
