Well now that I have driven both. I like the rs-a better. They have much better dry traction. Its supposed to rain pretty good here any minute so I can go try the wet performance. Maybe when I get some money I gan get good tires. But since I was just blessed with the RS-A's free and clear form the dealer that wont be for awhile.
Well while these are a long way from a great tire they are all around better than the contis!! Had much better traction in the wet. then the previous set.
I have stock Goodyears on my '03, and while they are a lot more worn than they should be, traction isn't too bad I guess, it just doesn't like accellerating from a stop uphill in the rain.
Only slicks are worse then Conti tires... so kinda simple to decide on the Goodyears lol. Now I had RS-A on my 96 Sunfire GT and the only time I had issues with those was in deep snow. But since they are a hard compound all season but realisticly summer tire, go figure.
