More power or mpg with K and N?

Anyone changed just the air filter and not the intake? Any more or less power or mpg?

More power obviously, not a ton, but a few ponies. And I don't remember if you gain or lose MPG, I know with my Injen intake, my MPG went up slightly.

I felt a little more power with my (removed) dyno, didn't notice gas mileage, because I replaced the air filter with the K&N before I went though the 1st tank of gas.
