Here they are. I was gonna surprise everyone at the Michigan meet but I decided to post some pics. I just threw it on there. The roof racks were made with EXCELENT quality. they are very sturdy and a good fit. The only problem is that some of the screws frmo teh roof rails are not long enough to catch the threading on the top of the roof. Anyways, here are some pics. I want to get them painted before the meet but I work too much and that probably will not happen.

That's fine I purposely go to the dealer for oil changes and stuff sometimes just to show it off (I can't change my own oil anyways because of warentee).I went in there a couple days ago to try and get my engine dirt shield clipped down. All the clips some how fell out while driving so I figure I'd have it fixed under warentee. I had already pulled into the "check-in" garage and they told me they were booked for the day. So when I left I started it up and gave it a little rev and all the desk guys said "wow that sounds really good!" I caught the mechanics once revving it up in the garage when I went back there to order a part lol! It was funny watching them. The only cars they get all day are probably old people's trailblazers and soccer mom's grand prixs so I think they like it when customized cars come in every now and then.
That's for sure! Once when my buddy went to get his supercharged 454 SS pick up after some warranty work, he found a lot of wear on the rear tires and hundreds of feet of burnouts and donuts on the road behind the shop...
Absolutely! There's a lot goes on at your friendly dealer that you'd never suspect. Here's another great example: I ran out of gas once about a year after I got my new '70 1/2 Z-28. As I was walking to a station, a guy stopped to give me a ride. On the way he said: "That's your green Zee (actually, being in Canada, he said 'Zed') back there? Me: "Yup"Him: "It's a beautiful car. That factory 2x4 barrel carb setup you put on really wails!"Me: "Errr...Ya, but how do you know anything about it?"Him: "Oh, I was at xxxx Chevrolet a few months back, thinking of getting one and you'd left it in for some work, so they gave me the keys and told me to take it for a blast to see how I liked it."Me: "!!!!!!!!!!"
On a mustang board a year or two ago, some guy was bragging about ragging on a cobra that came into his dealership and posted pics of the speedo pegged. Guess who was also on the board? The owner!
