Need help clarifying a few things still..

1. Are there turbochargers out there that will work on the 05's?2. Are there any CAI's that fit the 05's?3. (guess a better question that covers both up top) What are some good performance mods to look into for the 05's? My last car was all electrical (sound and lights) this time I'd like to start under the hood, then my paint, then work on my system but as I'v stated before I don't know much about engines so I'm willling to take any suggestions.

i haven't seen any intakes for the '05 other than the cosmo racing one (which requires modification). neverenuf.com claims that the injen intake will work w/ an '05 2ZZ, but i've yet to hear of anyone installing one (though two folks on matrixowners.com said they've ordered them, neither has posted a follow-up regarding installation). good luck in the hunt.

Is the CAI the only mod that won't fit the 05's? The way things are looking at the dealer I'm gonna end up having to buy an 05.

ATR Motorsports is working on a Turbo for the '05 Matrix XRS with the drive by wire throttle. Should be ready in just a few weeks or less. They just completed work on the '04 XRS and it's on the dyno's this week for tuning.
