Finding Vibe Shop Manual information

No shop manual is available for the Vibe despite what it says in our owners manuals. Helm publications is GM's publisher and a call to their toll free order line echoes what is shown on their website. http://www.helminc.com. Only duplicate copies of the owner's manual and navigation system supplement are available. Does this mean that there will never be a shop/service manual for the Vibe OR will it just take some time before one is released?

Helm couldn't tell me when or if a Vibe manual would be available. However, they do offer a shop manual for every 2002 model Pontiac - so you're probably right that it may be just a matter of time.. It would be nice to have one right away though, since so many of us are interested in technical details!

Let us know if you find a manual. I'd like to hardwire my Valentine One, but before i start tearing things appart i'd like to know what the "right" way of doing it is.

I had the same problem - Helm doesn't have it. I bought a Nav System manual from Helm a month before I bought the car because the dealer didn't even have it (they lost it I think) for the car on their own lot. Of course I bought my vibe from a different dealer.

Just checked helminc.com and noted that they list the vibe shop manual for $120 and its out of stock before they started selling it. Here is the description from the website. Vibe shop manuals from pontiac through 2004 are available here:http://www.books4cars.com/They run about $150There are online monthly-fee based sites as well. Google can get you there.
