can the chrome/stainless (whichever it is) on the 05 grills be removed?

Body kits, spoilers, lights, and anything on the exterior of the vehicle

I don't know. I looked at the grilles from underneath a while back, and I don't think it can be removed - you may be able to seperate them to paint them and then reassemble it, but i don't think the honeycomb will mount without the chrome bezel.

bleh, figures. I'm gonna have to search the U.S. for a dealer who still has an 04 on the lot, they ruined the vibe when they changed it.

I'm sure you can pick up a front clip from a salvage yard and just mount it. Or wait for body kits to come out and deal with it then.

Its more than just the front end, there are alot of engine mods that can't be done on the 05's as well from what I hear.

The only thing I know of is the throttle by wire difference. I haven't looked into it since it's not my car; it's the wifeys and I can't do anything to it.
