Baby mirrors?

Post by thenightfly42 »

On my previous vehicle, I had a baby mirror attached to my rear-view mirror. However, the Vibe has a very thick rear-view mirror, due to the built-in map lights. Does anyone have a recommendation on brands for installing a baby mirror?

My wife and I found a mirror made by Munchkin that will work. It is called 'Baby-in-View', and is mounted by a suction cup and then is attached to a telescopic pole(like an antenna). You can use it for forward or rear facing seats. Baby-in-View Mirror

that's a cool idea, but when you use it be sure to think about the effect of a mirror on a six foot pole suction cupped to glass if you are in an accident. You want to position it in such a way that it works, but also that it doesn't harm anyone in an accident.

The mirror is a panoramic view, so in our smaller interior cabins, it does not need to be extended. Even with my point being made, any object in a vehicle can become a hazard or a projectile in an accident.
