Air Intake

Post by Vibe04GT »

I'm new here and I need help finding more power for my 2004 Vibe GT. I burned a 2004 Formula 1 Trans-Am and I'm hungry for more. Anyway, I had a '70 1/2 Camaro and I built ram-air intakes under the front end. I'm looking for a hood with real intakes or info on modifying CAI for ram-air under the grille. Worked well on the Camaro...

Ram air would give you very little exta power over a CAI unless you are travelling at very high speed (100mph+). Do you have a Magnaflow cat-back yet? Someone on Genvibe did a true ram air hood a while back, maybe you could find it with the search function.

SLP makes one that works with the stock air box (with some minor modifications). You can see and get it here.
