Wow, I've never seen them like that! How old is your Vibe and how long have you had it? Might be abrasive clothing rubbing against it. I try to keep mine shiny and new. So far so good. Might have to get new ones to fix that.

I'll look them up for you tomarrow....'k?Another solution (or 2) #1 Chrome paint might make them look a little better....#2 Chrome decal overley....I know 3M makes one at least 2 inches wide, that SHOULD cover them ok.

wow, looks like they are not available seperate from the door trim panel. I have a call into PARTECH to verify that. I'm also checking with my Toyota source.

great sounds good........and if u can can u find out what the price on the front underside plugs cost......the plugs that are in the subframe....kinda like the tie down ones in the back for the car carriers.

They are part of the door panel, not sold seperately.I have found a source for the chrome tape though!!!http://www.can-dotape.com/foil-tape.htmAs for the frame plugs....I'd go to your Pontiac dealer and get them to get you a set, and install them free, they should have been done on the PDI.

I'll have to see if I can get ahold of a Vibe in the near future to do the design work... the handle doesn't have a compound curve, does it?- RyanGrafxWerks
Wow, not available as individual pieces? That stinks, but somehow that didn't surprise me. I guess they got sick of replacing door panels for messed up chrome, so the '05 door panels have the chrome missing - black perforated vinyl (kinda like what the center of the wheel has) is on there now.Luckily, nobody has damaged my chrome yet. A lot of the silver trim is beat to heck, but no chrome damage... lol

Hmm, I rather like the idea of overlays for the chrome in the interior as well...that blue reflective would look nice. I think Ryan has a new product idea...

I think Ryan has a new product idea... that would be a new great interior mod.......but for myself i would just like to have the look of a new peice that is not all discolored and marred....it just looks awefull....i would like to slap the previous owner for being so stupid and neglectful of this car when she had it....its a shame to let a car go to hell like that.

I'm sure if you got a chrome overlay, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. An idea for a cool interior mod just happened to grow out of the repair process... People who don't give a flying flip about their cars or anyone else's irritate me too. Especially when they fling their doors open into your car or rub their bags/shopping cart/whatever up against your car. Makes me want to say, "Hey, you may not care about your car, but I do care about mine and I'd appreciate it if you would mess yours up, not mine."
Ryan and I are working on a set now. he sent me a prototype. see the attached pic sorry 56k'rsI was hoping to get another set on before the super meet but I don't have the time. sorry I didn't say anything sooner.
I was hoping to be able to have my new, fitting door lock overlays before MI as well, but it doesn't look like they'll get here before I leave for Indiana on Thursday. Oh well, the too-big ones still look cool!
i wont get my overlays on time either. i wasnt aware paypal took 4 days to verify funds. well i do have other mods to show.
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!
Yeah, it does that with the eCheck thing, if it's coming directly out of your bank account and has no credit card to back it up. That's what happened to me this time because I was paying for the order out of my dad's business account instead of mine.
The decals are installed over top of the chrome - the chrome piece is not removable.I've added these decals to the site (for the '03-'04 models only). Thanks for all your help Sheldon!Cheers,- RyanGrafxWerks

Looks like the size is the same, but I'm not sure how well the decal would stick to the textured material there... is it hard plastic or a soft vinyl?- RyanGrafxWerks
Quote, originally posted by scherry2 »wouldn't all those holes show up as indentations? might look kinda cool.If you used regular vinyl, yes, they would likely show through. Reflective or Chrome/Brushed Aluminum are thicker and probably would not show the dimples.- RyanGrafxWerks
Quote, originally posted by jeffgtx »what color is the one in teh teaser pic? is that metallic pewter?does teh brushed aluminum look like the power window cluster color? The "teaser pic" is just regular black. The Pewter Metallic I have is pretty close to the Shadow color Vibe's are offered in. I'm not sure how the interior compares, but the Pewter Metallic vinyl would probably match closer than the Brushed Aluminum would.- RyanGrafxWerks
