I have a base model vibe that i have added the supercharger to and when car is warm it pings. We have tried to check exhaust to changing the spark plugs.Any ideas on how to eliminate this problem?I've heard about water/meth injection, how woul this help my situation if at all?
A Few Questions first:1) Are the plugs 1-2 steps colder? 2) Which S/C ECU do you have?(GM, TRD, GReddy e-Manage, etc...)3) Which octane gas are you running?4) Are you using the stock airbox or are you using a Short Ram or CAI?5) Are you running the 5th injector with an injector harness?

i have tried both plug ranges to get the same result.i used the ecu supplied with my gm kit.i have run up to 94 octane but i am now running on one above recomended octane 92.i did have a cold air intake before i added the charger.now just runningstock.i don't think so i just have the supplied injector that came with the kit.
i had it installed at the dealer.it is a 2003 i waited 6 months for it because i wanted it to be monotone!!do you know about how much for the water/meth kit cdn $
If is is dealer installed it should be under warranty and should not be running lean. I would have them take a look at it. Especially the GM Supercharger ECU for the fuel delivery. Because with your set-up you should have no problems with pings or knocks. The kit prices listed on those websites are in US dollars. I don't know what the conversion would be.
