http://toolbar.msn.com/default...h=yes It could be better, much better, but it's a step in the right direction.

Ha ha! Way to go, Micro$haft - I've had the luxury of keeping all of my pages open in one window with Opera since the late 1990's. About damn time - this is something that everything should have.So Windows using folks, hang in there - give it another decade and we will probably see the other stuff alternative browsers offer today implemented in M$IE. lol!

Nah! IE has a long way to go yet. Maybe when the next version on windows comes out I'll take a look at it again. I'll still stick with Opera for now.

The tabbed browsing is in the upcoming IE7 beta. You can browse with tabs with IE6 (and some earlier IE versions) today in a few different ways. Several third parties, like Maxthon, have built browser experiences with tabs on top of the IE platform. http://www.maxthon.com/

I haven't really figured out the whole tabbing feature on Firefox yet. I should mess around with it more, I have had it for a year and a half. LOL

It's a great feature... I tend to keep zillions of windows open (most of the time for no particular reason) so I refuse to use a browser that forces me to keep all that crap open down on the taskbar. it's so nice having all those windows contained within one single browser window. Try it, and once you do, you'll never go back.

I removed it last night.Oh well, maybe in IE7 it will be better.I need to get Opera again, I liked it but it went away with my last computer, I have just been too lazy to get it again.

I honestly cannot remember exactly, but I think you have to adjust a few settings under the Tools menu. The FAQ should be on Microsoft's website.

this is a Firefox tabbed browsing question...i can Ctrl-left-click or use the scroll-click to open link in new tab... The problem with this is some pages are fine to move on within the active window/tab and dont need to open a new window/tab each time i click a link. I dont know by clicking on it which it will do.Ideal situation is when I left-click (normal Click) on a link, If it would open a new window have it open a new tab instead. If it would normaly just move on within same window to do so. So special clicking moves required.. How/which browser allows for this???

It does tabbed browsing, has a built-in pop up blocker (which works great... I hate pop ups), it's highly customizable, and best of all it's freeware!http://www.crazybrowser.com/

Firefox and tabbed browser windows are the only way I can do my job without a 3rd monitor. Customise your tool bar to add in a "Tab" icon. Then you can open as many tabs as you need. Or change Firefox's settings so they're not so IE'ish - and open new tabs for links or cntl-clicks on links.I only keep IE around for Microsoft sites like Windows Update, MS Live Communication admin, and Hosted Exchange administration... nothing else.
