door lights

i installed a 194 sucket, and bulb (red)inside my front door panels.they light up with the interior lights. i wired them to the radio ilumintation wire. duhh. now the bulbs sit over the interior door handle. i drilled out a hole top inside handle cavity. too bad the light doesn't reflect straight onto the window switches like i wanted them to. instead they tint part of the seat red, and door handle. for those of you planning to do the same as i've seen on here before. there is little to no room under the switches.
