I didn't know that there was a high output base vibe. and he wants 17,500 for it that is what I paid for my GT. Check it out. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=6386 Later
Mike2004 Vibe GT Abyss two tone, M/T, power package and 17's.
I had mine on Ebay and it ended last night. I had a reserve of $9500 on it, and the high bid was only $8100. Maybe I should have put in my description "Super High Output".....
Hmm, he's been an Ebay member for almost 3 years and has 0 feedback. I thought at first that this might be a dealer because they would be aware of the fact that Pontiac used to sell some of their small cars with 4 cylinder engines as "high output" and I thought that they might be playing off of this. Nice try, but I see that the members of GenVibe know better!

Perhaps this guy has the Dealer Installed Super Charger. Of course if he had that wouldn't he say that instead of just "High Output", and have pictures of the engine.
It was originally listed as a 6cyl and the minimum bid was 22,000. If you look at the revisions and I think there was actually another thread dealing with the 6cyl part. stupid ebayer...lol

It's been listed again at US$16,500. Both old and new listings show it as '4-wheel-drive' too. I've complained to eBay about both listings as being grossly inaccurate. We'll see if they do anything...
My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.
Here's another questionable ebay ad, not because of the "high output" option thoughhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...95340the narrative says "I bought this car brand new for my wife but now needs something bigger." but the listing says the exterior color is "Beige/Tan" You'd think if he actually bought the car new, he would know what color it is.what is the paint code for all those tan vibes?

Do you think that his seller name being "76 Bandit" says anything for him or is that just odd???

The dealer key tag from when I bought mine says the color is bronze. I suppose it does take on a bronze-ish hue in the right light.

When I listed mine on Ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT ), there was a menu based, page by page, input process to input the information of the car you are listing. Some of the information is put in by drop-down menus, and in their list of colors, "shadow" or "envy", etc. aren't in them. I listed my shadow as "gray".When the sun it it just right, it did almost look like a dark gold though.
The funny thing is that he even has pictures of the engine. I lost all respect for ford dealerships....not that I had much to start with.Gnomes must of editted the turbo out of the pic.

It's back. They probably experienced lift when they test drove it and just knew it was that turbo boost kicking in.

That bites. I sent an e-mail to the seller and he admitted he'd messed up. I thought for sure they would revise the ad...They also missed that it's a 6-speed trans. Nice seats, though (I wonder if those are Katzkins (like TRDVibes)
