Hi everyone -Glad to find this community. Don't think I fit the average demo of a Vibe buyer (I'm 40 yrs old and a female) but it seems to be a great little versatile car.Does anyone have info on the Conquest rebate? Do you know if it can be used in conjunction with the current GM Employee Price program. I can't seem to find the info on Conquest anywhere.Still trying to decide on color - I love the Fusion but family doesn't - think the Neptune looks great when clean (here in the south we don't have the snow/salt to contend with but plenty of rain) and drove the Salsa. Thanks!Mexigrl
Welcome to the Encyclopedia of Vibe!Glad you found us. There are quite a few of us around here who don't fit the target demographic (I'm a 52 & male with a 14-year old son). Check out this 'Get to Know Your Genvibers' thread --> http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=16425Sorry, I can't help you on the rebate question - You might try IM-ing scherry2. As a GM employee, he's usually up-to-date on such questions.
My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.
To answer your "conquest rebate" question... I was told by my salesman (I am in the process of purchasing a new Vibe currently) that the conquest rebate DOES apply and can be used, even with the current price promotion that is going on where everyone gets the GM employee pricing. Don't quote me on that, but I am counting on that rebate to work for me when I actually purchase my Vibe next week. I hope that helps!

I was told at one dealership that I couldn't, but a second said I could. Then when I got there they said they made a mistake but were going to give it to use anyways.
Since your question has been answered, I will just offer a Welcome!!!You've come to the right place for any Vibe info you would ever need, and some you will never need.

awww, go for the fusion! the hubby's vibe is fusion and it's HOT! i love the color, but could never have it myself. i'd have so many speeding tickets, my license would be suspended! lol.
I bought my Vibe last month and got the Conquest rebate. I didn't need to trade-in my other (non-GM) car - they just needed to copy my registration. I ended up selling my other car on my own.If you can get the Employee pricing plus the rebates - that would be sweet!
I guess it all depends on how bad they want to sell you a car.I'm looking right now and the local salesman said that if you get the employee discount you don't get the Conquest. I guess it assumes that if you're a GM employee that you don't drive anything else? Doesn't make much sense...
Hi - I'm still not sure if the Conquest rebate is still available. It seems some people say "yes" and other say it is up to the dealer. Does anyone know definitively?Still stuck on the colors! Blue, Fusion, or Salsa!ThanksMexigrl
The conquest rebate is still available, at least through July 5th. My dealer says YES, but ultimately it is up to the dealer. Check around your area and see.
