Location of sub-woofer installment

Post by Vibe-agra »

Some owners have added a sub-woofer to their stereo to upgrade the base. Where would be a good location to install it?

I put mine in the trunk. Wiring pass under the platic at the bottom of the doors, then under the rear seat and come out in the trunk from the existing hole for child seat. I drilled only 1 hole, in the platic between the rear seat and the trunk.

I installed a JL audio microsub in rear hatch area. Sub was mounted using JL supplied mounting bracket to the vibe track system. I can still open cover over spare without removing sub. Wiring was run under carpet from amp under passenger seat. No holes drilled. Sounds great and takes up little room.
