Looks excellent!!! That is amazing fit and finish on the kit!!! How much "finessing" did you have to do for the perfect fit? So far I am thoroughly impressed with Aerogear (not my spelling abilities!)! Psyco:Any word on the roof cap fitment? There were some allignment/design change questions a few pages back that never got answered!!

Thanks for the feedback, Ill post more pictures from all angles once i get everything painted. pissedoffgokart, the only finessing that i had to do was to the side skirts...aerogear decided it would be a good idea to put an extra piece of fiberglass where the part meets the car so the skirts would hang about an inch over being flush, I called them and they said it was for better re-inforcement. So i just got the cutting wheel out and cut the extra off and then it went on fine. But that was the only problem i had getting everything to fit.
looks pretty good..my only thing is the grill..i thought i didnt fit.

i actually talked to dawn about that yesterday. They wanted the kits to ship with the front all filled with matchingmesh not the grilles but when aerogear made the kits they left the mounting holes for the grilles on instead. she said that they (aerogea) were told to fix it but have not as of yet so for now the '05 grille will fit.

That is why he is going to reinforce some places with fiberglass and stuff when he paints it. Actually, I may go with those Ebay grills or we are actually thinking of something else too. Paint isn't going to be just everything silver either! Probably gonna be a while though before he's done reinforcing and painting everything.

I've found the best way to get in touch with them is to just call. their number is on their website (417-455-2211). I've alway gotten right through and Dawn seems to know exactly whats going on with the kits and I'm sure if she doesn't know something she'll be more than happy to find out.

Looks good! Still waiting for mine to be painted. Called Andre yesterday and he said the fenders are done! Supposed to go pick those up tomorrow afternoon and put them on. I'll be sure to post pics!!! I also really like the idea of putting the plate behind the grill! Legal and out of the way and not drilled through the bumper. AWESOME!

Ok guys, HELP!!!!! I got all the parts from Andre and they look great. Only problem is, I don't know how to get the stock parts off! I found the thread about removing the front bumper, but couldn't find anything else, such as the roof rails, the side rockers, front fenders, or rear bumper. Sure, I could take a whole day off and figure all this out on my own, but if someone else knows it off-hand and could help me out I would really appreciate it. Plan to install everything and then Andre is going to paint the front and rear bumpers on the car once they are on and any fitment issues and taken care of. I would really appreciate any help here!!

to remove the roof railsjust pull the plastic caps off the ends, they might break but just pull them off, 2 big ones on the back and 2 smaller ones on the frontthen there are i think 4 screws per side that you need some crazy star wrench to get out but thats it and it comes right off

I thought I remembered seeing a special way or pulling the caps off so they didn't break, but good to know it's just the Torx screws after that! I love the instructions on Aerogears website: pull off OEM parts, put on our parts! That's about as detailed as they are, really!

To take the actual rails off becareful! I had to break my left rail and then examine it just to figure out how to get the right one off without breaking it. There are three clips inside the rail similar to the ones holding the end caps on. while you pull up slide the roof rails to the back of the car (or maybe to the front, I forget ) That should work in getting them off without breaking them.

Already broke one , tried to cut the rubbery stuff to see of I could get it to fit under the caps, nope still didn't work . Oh well, got the caps on, will take pics tomorrow morning. Only could get 2 screws on each cap to fit. The rest were too deep. I guess I need to find some longer screws. Oh yeah, and I don't know how others lined their holes up, but I tried just drilling through the center of the recessed hole on the caps and they were WAY off. Good luck figuring those out. Maybe someone else has some ideas. I just had to bore out the holesto get them centered. Got to front bumper off after a while of messing. Didn't have the holes drilled in the new bumper yet though, so it was just a practice run. It will be a LOT easier the 2nd time through. Tried to get one of the fenders off, and I think I got it all but one screw which I could seem to figure out how to get to, that and those black plugs for the wheel well liner, not sure how those are supposed to come out either. Any suggestions would be awesome!

the plugs u use a flat head and pry em up then just take em out...as for the square ones u have to press the sides in and push it through...

Quote, originally posted by Merzbow »I'm excited to see the fenders. I wanted those as well but forgot about them.Yeah, about those fenders..... Let's just say that we spent about 5-6 hours yesterday with intentions of putting the front bumper, fenders, side skirts and rear bumper on and as of right now the front bumper is the only thing currently ON the car. We spent a majority of those hours on the fenders, and then I finally gave up and took them off. They mounted OK (more of a gap than i liked in the door jam area), but then when we closed the hood, they sat too high. Then the headlights wouldn't fit or mount right either! Needless to say, I was pretty upset! So, right now I am running with the front bumper on in blue, the rocker panels are off for the side skirts to be mounted, and the stock rear bumper is still on. On that rear bumper, how the f@%& do you get that freakin' thing off?!?! I found all the bolts and tabs on the lower side of the bumper, but I assume the 4 bolts coming from the inside have to come out, but they have these long pins before the nut. How the heck do you get those off? Are there more from the inside I'm not seeing? This is turning out to be a real nightmare. I think I'll spend the extra $$$ should there be a next time and have someone else do this crap!

I can understand how disappointing it is! What did you think would happen? The car gods be no means make things easy for you ESPECIALLY if they know you want something really bad! I would know, I allways try and hide my intentions from them so I can order parts and install them with no problems but if they find out what you're doing they will make it a challenge for you
ok i seriously put the kit on me and my firend in about 4 and a 1/2 hrs. the biggest problem was the rear bumper. rememer what i told u damronjr. u have to have a long socket. then there are these clicks on the sides af the rear pumper that u have to pull out, but u cant c them. the screw that u are missing is in the sheel well of the rear bumper. if u sit sent to ur car looking towards the rear, pull out the well and look up. there is a screw holding it in still. and u have to pop off the bottem plastic pieces as well. anything needed drop me a line.

Can I talk to you on the phone too? We can have a threesome I'll just stand by until we start brainstorming the plan to mount the rof caps. BTW I have mine mounted and ready to go ALMOST. Only 2 or 3 of the screws wont catch the threading.
