well, after the long trek from driving mavrik's vibe across canada and up the alcan hwy, we finally made it! stopped into the dealership, they let us take the old gt out for a spin, asked if it seemed slower because they had the GM dealership do something to the car and the salesman who drove it there and then back said it was much slower than before. lol. hmm... don't know what they could have done?anyways, got a few nice pics. it was raining a little so i had to do a little photochopping to try and rid the raindrops on us and the cars. so if it seems odd that it's raining everywhere else but actually on us or the vibes, well...... i wasn't going to spend THAT much time to get rid of ALL of those pesky drops! lol.

ha ha! ya, no kidding. i think they'd call me up and say i needed to put them back in! they gave me another $1000 for the car because i pointed out it had a lot more features like the leather and the heated seat. and yes, i did buy the subie and traded the vibe gt in for it. some of the members on gvc already know the story: in brief, we wanted to get some pics of our vibes finally together after driving mav's up here the 5300 miles from Canada to Alaska. we met over a year ago on this website, fell in love, got married, and now he's in the process of immigrating to the US. last fall they did a story on me in the Pontiac Performance mag and wanted to do a small update after phil got here. that's the story in short..

i tried emailing the guy who did the story last fall and it came back. so nick is trying to get hold of them over there since i can't even find them online. i deleted a lot of the emails with other names because they were so huge (pics and the story and what not). they work way in advance and only do quarterly issues (4 yearly). if they do it as they had mentioned, i'd suspect it'd be the fall one again. probably after the supermeet in MI like they did the last time. they found it strange that i flew down from AK to MI for some vibe meet! lol.here's the link for the thread they posted. great article on last year's super meet too! http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=13405

lol. well actually my decision to go to the meet was before phil and i started talking even. it was really something that i had blurted out about if someone found me a ticket from anchorage to detroit for less than $400 i'd go. next day, travelocity has a special for $350 on Delta! vibechick, ragingfish and i had talked about meeting up at the meet to hang out for an excuse to get together.
