the hood didn't turn out as well as i'd have liked, but it'll do for now until i can redo it. pain in the (removed)! pics of doing the cleared lights. silverstar bulbs, look clear but blink amber:
What did you use for the "clear bra". I would recommend getting the Rockblocker stuff for your car Hope. It covers everything including your fog lights, headlights, pretty much any component on the front of the car that can get damaged by rocks.InderOnce again, the site is http://www.rockblocker.com

yes, i did get the rockblocker kit. but the hood i screwed up on. i will most likely redo the hood, but get the bulk 24" x 60" clear 3m film. it should be a lot easier! then i can place it down, squeegee out the bubbles, cut it to fit and have enough to wrap under the edges! plus it's a heck of a lot cheaper! $11/foot for the 24" so only $55 instead of $99 for the precut (have to stretch it) film. the bumper isn't perfect, but looks much better than the hood and you really can't tell it's there unless you walk close up and see the bubbles. i'm hoping those will fade over time in the heat and sun.
Yeah. the bubbles all went away on my brother's Forester. And he loves that stuff. Works great and he has no complaints. You should also get the rockblocker stuff for your fog lamps.Inder

This bulb that is designed to be "invisible in clear lenses, yet colored when lit." This is accomplished thru a silver coating on the outside of the bulb. This silver coating allows us to have truly "clear" lenses (without the "egg-yolk" look).
