Chicago/Midwest Meet Saturday March 29, 2003

gaownersclub.com and grandamgt.com will be having a Grand Am meet in Elk Grove Village, IL on Saturday, March 29, 2003.My boyfriend has a Grand Am (see pics along w/my Vibe at http://www.mitro.net) and I will be there with my Vibe. Other cars show up, Grand Prix's and Alero's...but everyone is invited. The more the merrier and we're all Pontiac's so we need to show the love. The last meet we had in October had 30+cars-it was huge! It's great to get together with people and talk about cars and see what other people have done...and get ideas for your own car! The meet is located in the KMart Superstore parking lot in Elk Grove Village, IL. The address is 600 Meacham Rd. Heres a map and a pic of the location: Its really pretty easy to get to from just about anywhere. Generally the meets start out by everyone meeting at the parking lot and after a couple hours we migrate somewhere to get something to eat sit there for a while, and then cruise around to wherever the action may be. Our last meet had 37 cars! We are looking to start the meet around 2:00 pm

Update! Chicagoland Meet – 3/29 @ 2 pmDue to the possibility of poor weather and the chance of rain or snow, a backup plan has been decided upon. In the event of rain or snow the meet will continue in a nearby FREE parking garage.The original meeting place will still be the Kmart parking lot (600 Meacham Rd.) at 2 PM, however IF it is raining/snowing we will move to the Streets of Woodfield parking garage (approx. 601 N. Martingale Rd. Schaumburg) between 2:30 and 3:00 PM. If you are coming later than 2:30 you can use these directions from Kmart to the parking garage.----------------------------Directions from Kmart to the Streets of Woodfield parking garage:Turn left (north) out of the Kmart parking lot onto Meacham Rd.Go 2 miles down Meacham Rd.Turn right (east) onto Higgins Rd.Go 1/2 mile down Higgins Rd.Turn left (north) onto Martingale Rd.Turn immediately right into the Streets of Woodfield complexGo to the stop sign and make a rightOn the right-hand side is the parking garageWe will be somewhere on the upper levels of the garage DON’T FORGET TO DRESS WARM!
