and how do we get so low?? very simple. get some tein S springs, drop the car about 1.5"-2" and then proceed to fully LOAD the vibe up with tires, boxes and whatever else will fit!

If so, what happened to the rims and where'd the bra come from? we left the winter tires on because we don't know what kind of weather we'll run into once we go through NW territories, yukon, and up the alaska hwy. the bra is to protect the front end from rocks, bugs and other debris while driving the 4300 miles/6800 km.
yes, we bought the bra for this trip in particular. but knowing we'll be doing a lot of camping and outdoor activities, we thought we'd invest in it for those trips too. easy to take off and put on. and so far, been well worth it!
Well worth the investment of the bra from the looks of it. Careful of the spring rates, not sure if they are the same as the stock or more Hopefully more!
well, i told phil he's too small for my bra. the rims will go back onto the car once we get back to AK. then perhaps he will be able to find a job and start working after he gets all the "things" done to his car. *rolling eyes*
Phil, be careful with that bra. If you get a little bit of dirt under that thing, you may as well kiss your hood's paint good bye. I have seen it so much, people take the bra off and it looks like they sanded most of the front end.

the bra will only be on for road trips. and we washed the car very well before putting it on. i had one on my 98 grand am (first car). every time i washed the car, i'd take off the bra and wash it off too. had it for 10 months and no scratches or damage. he also has a clear bra on the hood to help protect it so we're not too worried.

yep. that's why we got the fugly bra: to protect it from the inevitable onslaught of rocks, bugs and other road debris (including a poor little ground hog that he ran over)
there was a spot in saskatchewan that was like a little valley. it's pretty flat throughout the whole province, but this spot went up a little hill. at the bottom of the hill right before you start going back up the slight valley, they had about 6 cops on each side of the hwy waiting for people. they had a good 3-4 cars lined up giving tickets. luckily in that area, it's 110 kmh limit and we're finding that if we stay b/w 110-120 kmh we get the best fuel mileage. those guys must have been flying to get pulled over!

Whats up all. Long time no see. She sitting really low. Mine actually sits like that and maybe an inch lower up front with the ground control coilovers I had installed recently. I think the shop that lowered it measured about a 3 to 3.5" drop on it. I think it settle at 4". Just waiting on my 20" wheels to come. The coilovers actually don't ride bad at all. Just bouncy on a bad road. I may have to raise it up when I get my wheels. I will post post pics of the drop and when the wheels arrive when I get them.
