Cleaning 6-disc changer (nav system)
Hi... any suggestions on how to clean the CD lens on my under-seat 6-disc changer? The manual tells me what not to do:The use of CD lens cleaner discs is not advised, due tothe risk of contaminating the lens of the CD optics withlubricants internal to the CD mechanism.... but it doesn't offer alternatives. Ideas? I have a pretty bad skipping problem with discs in the changer that is most likely a dirty lens. Thanks.

Really the only safe, reliable way to clean it is pull it open and clean it by hand... I'm guessing you aren't still under warranty? Maybe it could get cleaned that way?
