L.E.D.'s behind vents PICS

Post by Wimperdink »

Ok for all of those who didnt get any round tuits for this project, I have a couple of pics. The pics dont show up near as cool as the real thing. Its really too cool for words. I wrapped some blue reflective tape around the inside of the vent tube then installed two blue LED's in the sides of the tube. Here's the look. BTW if this has been done and shown i'm sorry for bringing it back to the frontline. anyone else who's done this how about showing some pics

bout 30 minutes for the first one, but now that I know what i'm doing, I'll run the other three vents on a long string and tie them all together on a switch.. Thinkin a dual color LED would look good if you could change from red with the heat on to blue with the a/c on

Looks nice. Does it distract you while your driving? I'm thinking that someone else here did this with red ones.

I'd love to convert everything in mine to blue as well, but I figure it's probably a lot more trouble than it's worth. I'll settle for my blue under dash LEDs...LOL.
