Screen size changed?

Post by vibe owner »

Wish you hadn't widened your formatted pages. They don't fit on my 800-by-600 screen without scrolling left and right. My wife won't let me increase the screen resolution because the cards in solitaire get too small Hmmm -- just went back into the forums and now they fit again? Can you explain that? Matrixvibe.net is always too wide, but this is the first time I've seen genvibe have that problem...

My screen resolution is set at 800 x 600 with no problems. Some members post pics that are 1200 x 800 pixels. With pics that size most of us will have to scroll from L - R .

No, it is not just the pictures. The "Tech Info & Do-It-Yourself Info" "Service manual available from Helm" is an example of one forum seems to be wider than most others. Would the long URL in the first post cause that?

The long topic titles, as well as the differently sized avatars often put the page out of proportion. Sometimes it's hard to tell which element(s) on the page actually puts the screen out of size, as well as a combination of many small factors. I have seen the same issue on some 800x600 screen sizes as well and can relate to your problem.Fortunately, I rarely use a computer with a resolution less than 1024x768.I think this is just one of those things that happen. Sorry for the inconvenience.
