I think the main grill up top is almost flush with the sheet metal on the nose. I wonder how they got around that. When somebody buys one take some close up pics I am interested to see this.
Has anybody installed these yet. I put on the lower 3 pieces about 2 months ago but I've been waiting for warmer weather to do the uppers. It looks like a real pain in the (removed). You have to remove the stock grilles first, drill holes and attach brackets. The stock grille is in 2 parts but it is not just the part you see. The grill is actually a structural part of the front facia of the car, it covers the whole area behind the fascia and reinforces it. I'm thinking of removing the whole thing and just cutting out the grille area to retain the structure itself. This would eliminate any possibility of returning to stock unless I bought a new grille assembly$$$.

Sunny...the website says that no drilling is required. Are yours the same as these? They're surprising nice-looking. I note that they're more expensive than the 03-04 version ($154 vs $103)

I think they just did not update the info on their website from the '03-'04 model. There is a bag of L-brackets, pop rivets, bolts etc. and there are 5 pieces of grille. I guess that's why they are more expensive. I may attempt it tomorrow but I really don't like the idea of removing some of the front structure of the car. I think the fascia will be quite flimsy without the grille framework behind it.

Nice guy, and very accomodating. The black grilles he made me are shaping up to be extremely durable - Not a single chip!
