not really... It doesnt really bother me and all my windows are tinted at 5% and it doesnt make it any harder to see out than before I like it a lot now that I've had it in there a few days... I've had a few diff mounting devices all of which seemed flimsy and wanted to vibrate or move around when I was pushing buttons. Its solid now. BTW I made it too wide on purpose, so I can mount switches on either side of it for future projects.
Pretty creative.. I really have to clean up my mount for my EQ controller that's up there.. (I don't have the moonroof, so my headliner is a bit different)I like the amp mounting too. Good job!

Wow! That is very nice set-up...Where did you get that mount from?Do you have enough power source wire?Mine kinda in my way...Here is mine... http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/824524/8
Wow you think yours is in the way... check this outyou can see the shifter is well hidden under the laptop desk. If you look even closer yet you'll notice the cb mounted by my right knee. My work has made me put on 23,000 miles just since feb. 05 and those two things are very neccesary when i'm traveling. have GPS mapping on the laptop. Anyway to answer your question about the mount, I made it with some cardboard, tape, and some fiberglass. shaped it out with the cardboard, and fiberglassed it and painted it up. walllaaaahhh oh and I have one of those 3 cigarette lighter adapters hard wired in and mounted inside my glove box for my battery chargers and phone stuff. I had to extend the power wire for the Roady by about 2 feet to reach the glove box power outlets.
close enough I've been from Kansas City to southern tip of FLorida to Bangor maine quite a few times and everywhere in between I install electronics for a living. Mostly Telematics tracking devices on fleets of vehicles all over the country.
