Most of the PT Cruiser forums on the net are big on appearance stuff, but short on increasing performance or tech talk.
http://www.ptcrew.com is the exception to that...they've got a lot of tech and performance chatter going on there.Or he can try
http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/ to look for links...there's a LOAD of PT-related links there to forums, parts shops, etc. From browsing around, it looks like there are loads of basic stuff that he can do...intake, exhaust, plug wires & coil (from what I've read the stock ones aren't that great on PT's), and there's aftermarket turbo kits as well as supercharger kits available.PT's aren't known for their gas mileage, so he's probably not going to see much of a jump in mileage...20 mpg seems about what most people get in those around town, maybe 25 highway.
