What wild road trip adventure ever we have. I have great driving experience on highway over weekend to visit my grandmother’s 90th birthday and visit my grandparents. We left Lansing, MI Friday evening about 5:30 pm EST and heading down to Morrison, IL. It was very nice and very smooth ride on highway. When we get into Chicago area and I could not believe that no one drove “45” speed limit on I-94. Oh yeah, no cops or state troopers on highway either. I was driving about 80 mph and everyone passed me like 90-100 mph. So I speed up to 90 and they still passed me and went up little more to 95 mph. Still passed me and did get little worrying, went slow down back to 80 that I have little one in my backseat and don’t want miss my exit but we did. We end up with in near by Wisconsin and we turn around heading back to south on I-294 from I-94. It was my wife’s fault get us lost. I did not get up set with her and it was not that big deal. Meanwhile, we back on track I-88 “Toll Express highway” and drove straight down to Rock Fall, IL then straight down to Morrison, IL. We get there at about 1 am CST. It was very long ride and took us about eight hours, normally about six hours. Best thing on whole trip to down there was that not very many drivers on highway at late evening. We have great time drive around over place in outside of Chicago and it was very good experiences.We leave Rock Fall behind my grandmother, uncle and cousins about 1:30 pm CST and our first stop in Michigan City, IN for dinner break and won’t hurt to refuel Vibe. Then back on road, drive straight home non stop and we got home about 8:30 pm EST. I was very tired for really long drive. So we unpack Vibe and now she is all nice clean but need wash again sometime soon. Our total mileage for round trip was 825 miles and refuel Vibe about 2 and half times. It was very wild road trip….
