Mine has an annoying buzz in the center of the dash at 3,000 rpm. The dealer has tried twice to fix it under warranty with no luck so far.

check your platic engine cover, maybe its loose. I know I had a rattle under the hood after I put my cold air intake in... I had removed the engine cover and it was a little loose afterwards.

Sunny, check out the search for that dash buzz... Im pretty sure there is a step by step on how to fix that one. I have the same problem, I just tend to ignore it or turn up the radio.

I did a search but I guess I didn't use the EXACT words necessary to find the step by step.Quote, originally posted by Ponyota »Sunny, check out the search for that dash buzz... Hi gpk,Does it happen when in neutral as well? Could be just about anything loose or rattling near the engine. I say near the engine simply because the RPMs cause the issue. I would look for something that may have come loose or something that may be metal that could be rubbing/bouncing up against something else in or around the engine.Should be an easy thing for a dealership to find since it seems to happen regularly. Rattles shouldn't happen and unless you altered something that's causing the issue, any diagnosis/repair should be covered... I'd hope.Last Summer I was doing a bit of work under the hood. Added Ground Wires, changed Manual Transmission fluid and a few other things. Shortly after doing some of the under the hood work, I noticed at idle there would be a grinding noise, heard when the radiator fan was on, usually when at a slight incline. It didn't happen often but occasionally. I let it go until a trip to SC. Became more annoying. I had checked before but didn't notice anything but this time I decided to give a more close look. Found my sunglasses stuck near the fan blade. It would sometimes rub the blade, sometimes not. I honestly thought it was the ground wires I had installed but nope, I forgot to get my glasses once before closing the hood. Dave

I have a rattle at low rpm, coming from my windsheild defrost... it's only when my fan is on low setting, I'll get it looked at before my warranty is up in 45000 kms... For now I just turn up the stereo!

Yes i have this exact porblem the dealer says they don't hear it or say they have fixed it but never tell me what they supoosdely do. i can't take the absoulte idiots at my dealer anymore. but it is still under warrenty and still there problem, but if someone could figure this out and give something to tell them to fix that would be great. i don't want to take apart my whole dash, for one i think i would only end up with more rattles after that, and for another because it could void the warranty. it sounds like it is coming from between the radio and the defrost vents to the windesheild any help would be great this noise is killing me
