And I found out that I'm #1, although that means squat since they'll be shipping the regular CF hoods first Oh, and I'm ready for my hood NOW haha (thank you IRS, finally).EDIT: Sooo, does anyone know if they will have rolled edges?!?! Havok still hasn't commented on this. One would think they would know what kind of edges it would have upon designing the mold, right?

Well #1 in terms of payment, they may still delay the kevlar or maybe not since they are taking such a long time it may be the same for CF as kevlar now

Yeah, it has to be legit. JSP is a big brand name and they wouldn't risk their name on something like this. I have no reason to doubt the production is underway but this delay is kind of disappointing. I wanted ot have mine before the last day of school June (3rd) but that's obviously been pushed back. Then I figured I'd have it by the time the Michigan super meet rolled around but I gues that's not gonna happen either. We'll probably get them around November, just in time to take it off for the winter lol.

Apparently our hood aren't as important as their other business for them to take this long to build a hood that they made thousands of before on different model cars. It's not like it is something new to them so I don't see how it could possibly take this long to get done unless they are just flat-out not working on them.

ok everyone heres tha deal. Im not too happy about this whole thing and its causing me to look elsewhere for work. Anyways the hood was sent to canada to be molded and made.. Well i guess we had some issues with the canadian side with molding and such so we got another hood and shipped it to china where we are having some of our hoods made now. Unfortunately the hood was just shipped out last week to china so we have to wait for them to produce.. They can produce much faster than our canadian cf guys and we should have all the hoods in the next ocean container we get. This will be near the end of June from what they are telling me. Im very sorry for the delay if anyone wants to pull out you can call the office and ask for Aaron Er for a refund of your deposits.

It does reek of scam but its just a legit company that has more stuff to do than a < 10 person group order for hoods. I think it's also just poor organization and bad luck

ok guys.. listen this isnt some scam and i dont want to be affiliated with anything that says scam on it.. I agree with the portion of unorganized. I no longer work for JSP due to the fact that they are not organized and i cannot stand by a company that brags about quality and cannot produce simple hoods for paying customers on a reasonable basis. As i said before you can call the office 716-871-0262 and ask for Linda or Aaron Er for a refund of your money for this group buy. The same thing is happening with the matrix group buy but the only difference is China already makes a Matrix hood and Aaron is trying to get one here to see if the matrix owners want that hood. I cannot believe the amount of time these projects are taking and am very sorry for any inconvience it has caused anyone here. I hope that no one here is mad at me directly as i was the one who decided to offer these hoods but the company is the one that poked around with making them. I am very sorry. As i said before I no longer work there i quit yesterday and am currently debating on 2 different offers for employment and will start a new job next week. I hope that these hoods are produced to your satisfaction and you get them soon. If you have any questions please call their office and find out whats going on.. I will check in from time to time to see whats going on. Once again. Sorry for this.

Not a good sign, guys! Well Havok, it sounds like what you said about the hood being in production all those times and the guys stealing your camera was all bull$hit! Like I said in an earlier post. Lame delay tactics. You should have been more up front with us with what was going on and kept us updated more often instead of blowing us off. I'm not blaming you Havok, but communication is key. Good luck with your next job.The longer this went on, the more of a bad feeling I got about it. I called on Monday to get a refund. Funny, I got Aarons voicemail, left a message and have not heard from him since. I will be calling again tomorrow. There better not be a problem getting my deposit back or there going to be an a$$ whoopin'!

the group buy is still a go.. the hood shipped to china already i made sure of that. they had the hood in canada and were screwing around so jsp pulled the hood and sent it to china this is where the delay happens because china has to produce the hoods and then ship via ocean container. Im not saying the hoods arent being produced im just letting everyone know that its taking longer due to the ocean shipping. For those of you that are waiting for this group buy you will get your hood just not in a timely fasion. These hoods should have already been produced unfortunately there wasnt timely decisions made to let canada produce or send to china.

Silver kevlar was costing more and, from what I was told before, would take longer as well.
