Front badge...

Post by LocDog »

I kinda rear-ended a truck but lucky for me the front badge took the damage away from my bumper... the question is, does neone know how much a new one costs?

Sorry, but I don't understand... In your signature, it's written that you don't have any badges. See: «no badges»...I don't understand...

Hehe. Well, "No badges" can simply mean the dealer name tags put on the vehicle, and the name badges on the car. Taking the Pontiac symbol off the front would look kinda odd with the empty arrowhead space. At least, I wouldn't remove it unless I had a replacement.Glad to hear the Pontiac Emblem protected you LocDog. Behold...the power.... As for a new one, you should be able to get one from the dealer I hope. My family use to get ours stolen all the time, and we just bought new ones from the dealer.

The arrowhead in the front is the only one I left on... Flip is right, the space would look odd without it.It could have been a little more protective... thanks to the GM design engineers for making the hood overlap the bumper, the edge of my hood is slightly dented downward and has a 3" chip on the edge...

It doesn't look bad at all. Go around to 3 or 5 local shops and see what they will charge you.
