These following springs are listed on E-Bay from a California company, has anyone installed these? Looking for feedback on the ride, handling, quality, problems, company itself, etc...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33582
I've read the thread, no one seems to have tried these particular springs, just discussing other brands. Maybe that says it all? Anyway they are alot lower priced so I was curious. I don't want to deteriorate the ride but improving handling slightly would be nice.
I think I have them on my Vibe right now. Not sure, but they look just like the pic of the ones on Ebay. I never knew what they were as I got them from another persons Vibe who had bought it used and had no idea. No problems here, a lot smoother than the Eibach Pro-kits I had and lower as well.

They were pretty rough, at least with the 19"s. These seem to be more "bouncy" and less harsh on the bumps and potholes. They are lower as the Pro-kits are only like 1.5" I think whereas these are at least 1.75" and I think they are actually lower as I really noticed a bigger drop after swapping.

hum... I think I'm gonna buy those!!!! I send an email to them asking for shipping fee. but after reading the other threat, I come with a question. Will I have to change my shocks too? or sooner?

Plus I don't want to drop it too low since it snows around here.
I am considering going with the Pro-Kits on the front and Hotchkis on the rear to get the minimum amount of drop 1-1/4" in front and 1-1/8" on rear. That means I will have to get two sets of springs(I already have the Hotchkis still in the box). Then I will have the Hotchkis fronts (1-1/2") and Prokit rears (1-1/4") available for sale. Unless someone wants to do a even swap. My Hotchkis fronts for your Pro-kit fronts? Any takers?

I might be interrested. depends how much. but I'm confused about which springs we're here talking about... you're talking about three different kind of spring with thre different kind of trop...
I'm talking about only two kinds of springs:1) Hotchkis (1-1/2" front and 1-1/8" rear) ($170+/-)2) Eibach Pro-Kit (1-1/4" front and 1-1/4" rear) ($225+/-)I would probably sell the Hotchkis Front(1-1/2")/Eibach Pro-Kit Rear(1-1/4") combo spring set for $175+ shipping.

I just ordered them. 89.95 USD + Shipping & Handling: (includes any seller handling fees) $44.95 USD. the S$H fees are half the value of the spring!!!!! I hate be in Canada for shipping! It's the same with the grill I ordered... I'm still waiting for it, has been 5 days now...

all right, I have them since May 13th, but I was away since then, so unable to post... after 3 weeks of having them, here are my impression. handling in corners or highway exits is amazing. there is no rolling or pitching anymore. but in city everyday-use, it's kind on unconfortable, but streets here aren't pretty so... they said 1.75 drop for front and rear, but it's not the result on my car. I got around 1.25 for sure at rear (from 16" to 14.75") and a bit more than to 2" in front (16.5" to 14.3"). but I'm not sure for the front, I'll have to check it again (my front wheels weren't straight when I took the mesure). and the rear looks lower that the front... anyway, I have pictures in my 35mm kodak, so as soon as I have them, I'll scan some and post them.
How much did the tuner shop charge you for the install? I am getting mine this week and hope to have them installed by the weekend Ahh the roads in Quebec lol they are terrible WITHOUT the drop

When I had the pro-kits installed it was almost as much as the freakin' springs I later found out! Sure, it was probably a rip-off too, but from what I've heard they do charge quite a bit. Usually the local MO guys get together and do everyone's here, but, as I just found out, even with the assistance and supervision of a Toyota service bay supervisor, they still managed to screw mine up with these Hotckis. Got to driving around and started hearing a lot of noise from the front passenger, like something was rattling around and the front suspension was about to fall apart. Eventually found out that the front struts weren't tightened right and they were both starting to loosen up! That could have become a bg problem if I didn't fix it soon enough! You can do it yourself if you know what you're doing and be careful to tighten everything back to specs. It really not THAT hard if you can get a spring compressor or a heavy guy to hold them down while you tighten it. Godd luck and let me know when they get there, Sam!

I have a buddy on mine Ben (Sub Vibe R) that will help me install mine. I was told it takes about 4 hours on our cars and at 50-75$ an hour it will be alot more than what I paid for lol. I was also just curious to see how much thewhite was charged here. Thanks again time Jason, they should be here around the middle of the week And I think that will be the end of the mods for THIS summer lol

my father is the rep of Toyo Canada in western Quebec. He asked to one of his client, owner of a tuning garage, where I should go, and he suggested to my dad I should go to that garage, because thy do a really good job, and blablabla, so I left Quebec City at 6:00 on a friday morning for my appointment at 9:00 in Montreal, a shop in St-Laurent on the corner of Highway 13 and 40. it's call Tarvey's. won't go there anymore...
well the price also include an alignment of the 4 wheels (not sure it's the appropriate expression, born as French, will die as) but it's still too expensive. but the job was done, and I taught my dad will have sort things for me... apparently not.
