it was 10 C outside when I woke up, with a beautiful sun and no wind. After breakfast, I went to a carwash with guys washing my baby with their hands. When I came back, I put my baby in shadow and take my wax out of the trunk. I took 45 minutes to take care of her, kind of massaging her everywhere. My girlfriend told me I'm crazy, to talk to my car, calling her Baby, etc... but I don't see it like that. My gf friend want good meals, bubble bath, manucure and massages. For me, my Baby has the same needs: super gaz, oil changes, mods, and hand carwash with wax once in a while. Giving that to her, I have the feeling she will give it back to me... I know you guys understand what I mean.
Its only 10C? BRRRRRRbut I hand wash my car to. Its never been through a car wash. Which reminds me... next time I talk to my folks I better remind them not to drive it through one in case they want to clean it up before I get back home for it.

i take mine thru the car wash. after a summer and winter up here, the rock chips don't make a difference. however, i prefer the touchless car washes, so it's just water getting MOST of the crap off. then a nice hand job and wax will finish her off! and no, it's not JUST you guys that understands. i've been washing and hand waxing all my vehicles since before i could drive! that was instilled in me my whole life. take care of your car and it'll take care of you!

I use the no contact car wash when I don'T have time to go the my hand carwash. And when I said guys, I meant all the people hanging out here

Ok, maybe I was thinking something a little different than she was None the less, I also like to shoot over to the car wash and give it a little soap and rinse before bringing it home to rewash over again and apply wax. Higher pressure wash at the car wash seems to get some of the grime out of the crevices that I can't get out with home wash. I also wash under the hood while im at it. I was planing on doing mine this w/e. No need for it now, not until the body work is finished.
We just had to back out of the garage yesterday to get our 'car wash'. (it rained all friggin' morning and early afternoon)We did just give the Vibe a hand WASH on Thursday after work though! (now it's all dirty again from the rain)
