I'm the proud new owner of a 2005 Vibe w/5 spd manual and the power package option. 16" steel rims too. Pretty basic I know.I tried ordering the supercharger, but I was later told by my salesman that it did not work with the 05 model yet (can someome verify this??)Anyhow I was bummed. I truly did not like the low end torque of the Vibe GT (I was considering it big time after I found out that the cost of insurance was just $25 more then the base!).Anyhow, I'm a happy camper. I plan on doing the usual hopups like....WheelsExhaustSpringsand Interior. Can't make up my mind on the wheels yet. I like the look of the Evo5's. By the way, how do the 18"s ride? I may stick with the 17x7's since they offer this size as stock. Also, does anyone make carbon fibre dash and armrest parts? (Note: I meant this to go under an existing thread, but it looks like I clicked on the "POST" instead of "Reply" sooorrry.)
Hello and WELCOME!Yes I believe that the supercharger works with the 05's. Something about the throttle cable. Many of the members have upgraded to 18's. You'll get the most Hp from a CAI and catback exhaust system. There are many different manufacturers to choose from. Do a search and you'll find many posts with alot of information about aftermarket parts. To my knowledge there are no carbon fiber dashes except for overlays and some form fitted parts, none for the armrest parts as of now. I see you live in Mi. Do you know about the Vibe Super meet there? It's for Vibe owners. So far about 40 of us plan on attending but hoping there will be many more. You can find information about this in the Forums. How about a couple pic's of your new ride? We love pictures!
Welcome!! MAN, we are getting a ton of new members recently. Always nice to see the Vibe selling well. Does anyone have any idea about the sales figures for the Vibe this year so far. I would imagine that for every member we get here, there are probably a few hundred Vibes that are bought.

Welcome to GenVibe! Yes there are a lot of new member lately. I think it may have something to do with the higher gas prices. The Vibe and Matrix are the perfect vehicles in my opinion because they are cheaper, get good gas mileage, have decent storage, are cool looking and fun as hell to drive!

Welcome to the site! I have 18" Mille Miglia Evo5s and in my opinion the ride is great. Yes, it is a little harsher than stock, but not at all uncomfortable. You do have to be more careful with big potholes and bumps, but I have accidently hit some large ones and had no problems yet. It'll just be a loud bang! Check out my cardomain link for some pics and info.
Justin 2003 Vibe GT - Mille Miglia Evo5 18x8 Wheels (now stock)- Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust (now stock)- Tein S-Tech Springs (now stock)- Injen CAI - Red Painted Calipers - Hella Supertone Horns - Polk Speakers - Bazooka RS8A-HP Sub - Kenwood Headunit - Still love my Vibe, but I've just turned it back into a basic daily driver.

I guess people were either waiting for the model to not be so "new" and get all the bugs worked out, or else it's just now getting people's attention.

Especially with gas prices going up, people still want their SUV's but also want better fuel economy. We have a great compromise in the Vibe. A woman at work just bought an '05 AWD and she loves it so far. Looks just like mine. By the way Welcome!
