Might be nothing to be proud of. I know many people who talk much more than I do, but never actually say much. But if many posts means one is helping a great website thrive, then those high posters deserve many thanks, no matter what they've said in their posts. Good job, all!KSNeptune
I agree Nick. I try to post to topics that interest me or I have experience in. And the more information you post for other members, the better our forum gets. Good job everyone!

LOL Ya I used to be number one since the begining but since we have gotten much bigger I just sit back and enjoy the conversation everyone else has for the most part.

I think it needs to be pointed out that today Mr. Poopypants has passed a major posting milestone. Using member List, searching by member's number of posts in descending order shows that Mr. P. has passed ArcsVibe in post count and is now a member of the ultra elite, highly prestigious, and severely underpaid All Time Top Ten GenVibe Posters.Congratulations Mr. P. Sorry you got bumped ArcsVibe. pretty underhandded of Mr. P to take advantage of your being distracted by new parenthood to slip ahead of you that way.

wow, that's sad when only 45 posts makes you the top poster for the last 7 days! LOL. I think the most in one week for me was like... oh 250?? i think that was last year when I was home recovering from surgery... or during the prime of the "single or not" thread... but there were a lot of us with high post numbers back then!
Quote, originally posted by trdvibe »... but there were a lot of us with high post numbers back then! Not really Hope, just you. Eh. I've been "king of the Top 10 Posters" list a few times before, and let me tell everyone from experience, it's not that big of a deal. It is a bit of an honor to be on the Top 10 all-time list though. Makes me feel like I've contributed a little toward the betterment of the site. It's funny though, that many of the members who I would consider some of the top contributers aren't on the all-time top 10 list.I'm currently #10 all-time, but I was at #7 for a long time, even making it as high as #6 at one point. I really slacked off over the past 10 months or so mostly due to school, work, my business, and breaking up with my ex-girlfriend. I was often here peeking in, doing my mod duties and checking up on old GenVibe friends, but I didn't post much for a while and got passed up. It's also a bit of an honor to be the second longest member of the site in the all-time top ten list. Only ragingfish has been a member longer than me on that list, and only by 16 days.I think the all-time top 10 list is more of a reflection of the old GenVibe dinosaurs that have survived extinction. Heck, I can remember the days of GVC when two posts on the whole site in one day was a big deal and when it might take almost a week for someone to notice your post and actually reply. And I really do miss some of the "oldtimers" that used to frequent the forums. I see GenVibe as kind of like a family; some stick around the house, some visit every so often, and others have their lives take them in a different direction and they move away. I also remember the Vibe shortages of 2002, particularly in Canada, as well as the major difficulties (i.e.--impossibility) in getting replacement body parts during that time. And who could forget the great GenVibe kings of controversy? Love them or hate them, they were who they were.Anyone else want to share some of their favorite GenVibe memories? Maybe we could come up with a top 5 or top 10 favorite GenVibe memories for GVC's 4th Birthday on 04/01/06. If this is a popular idea with the site's members, I'll volunteer to put this together as a little project and post the results as part of the 4th birthday celebration. This gives everyone plenty of time to think of their favorite moments and events of the site that we've grown to love.

I predict Hope will surpass silverawd in March of next year and will be the all-time poster on Genvibe.Interestingly enough, Hope and Mav have contributed 21,648 posts to genvibe - and not all of them were them dating

I've slowed down over the years. it goes in spurts you know. More active as of late, but that's just because work is slow and I'm BORED!!! Besides, I may not have my VGT anymore, but I still love this place and the people. GVC

LOL I can't tell you how many times I've had to wait and go back... and many times I just don't. oh well. it would be scary to add up all my posts from all the forums over the years. to think that GVC was the first forum or internet (other than email) anything I ever belonged to. And it was Arcsvibe, Silver, Raging, Nick, Joat and a few others that really got me involved. Mainly Silver and Raging... then came along Mavrik. and well.. we know. tomorrow = 4 yrs.
