painted brakes

had my front calipers painted tofay and here are some pics. i'll be having the rear drums painted probably next week when my magnaflow is installed. a friend of mine is doing it, and would have done the rear drums today, but he ran out of paint...

Looks awesome! How'd he paint them? What paint did you use?

he said it was a new brake paint from dupont...he showed me the box...he put five coats on it, and it has to dry 24 hours...but when you look at it, you can tell it is a very good application...the paint itself for the two wheels was $20.00

and as for applying, it was done with a brush...

Did you remove them or paint them on the car? I assume the latter, but I was just wondering how hard it was.

painted them on the car up on a lift with the wheels removed...he owns a custom car shop, and works on my ride for me......he's good at it, so no paint got onto the calipers..

LOOKS GOOD! I think I may want to change mine to Red. Right now they are painted black, but it's kinda boring.

Is there a paint number from dupont for this special brake paint ? I can't seem to find anything like that in the dupont website.Thanks
