Anyone ever put a LIFT KIT on a Vibe?

Post by motodave »

We love to go out on weekend getaways and travel on dirt roads. Sometimes we get into trouble because the Vibe is so low. We see tons of aftermarket suspension kits to lower a Vibe, but what about us? If anyone knows of a place that sells a suspension lift kit, please let us know about them. The great thing about the Vibe is all the junk you can carry out to the boonies. Even better would be to have it a little taller! We are not attracted to buying a small SUV since they are all V6s (when ordering auto trans) and can't get the 40MPGMotodave

Motodave I love you man!I think it would be sweet to lift the vibe! I know this coming from a guy who is always questioning lowerig it. Well untill the floods recently in North Jersey. There is one thing I miss about my old Nissan Pickup on 32's gettin it dirty in the mud. A lifted Vibe would be great kind of like those old AMX Eagles? (I thinkn that's what it was from back in the late 70's early 80's) All Wheel Drive Vibe up in 30 inch meat would be nice. Would be cool to graft the Vibe onto a Jeep Frame or some other small SUV frame. BAD A$$!!!!!!!

Joatman, That's classic!Photoshop, but good fun. Hey, we are an off road family out in California and love to run around the Mojave desert in our 4x4 Sonoma ZR2 or the Yamahas. I think the wife wants her Vibe lifted because she is gealous of the project I'm currently working on. Our daughter left a Ford Festiva at home and I'm turning it into an off road vehicle. My pals saw this picture of one that is raised and is camo in last month's DIRTBIKE magazine. I have the link, go check it out:http://www.fordfestiva.com/for...t=518Notice that ther is a guy in MN that plans on making a "GRAVE DIGGER" called the POTHOLE DIGGER because it is a Festiva. There has to be something out there can lift it 2.5 - 3" maybe more?Motodave
