quick hood question....

Post by vibedrvr04 »

OK...i've been running through some of the threads here and found this one:http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=14916my question is about the "INVADER" style hood.....does anyone actually make it? I definately like the look of it....unique. I've seen the SLP hood, but i don't like that one too much. Also, are there any others available? I've also seen the hood like what's on the Psychovibe, but i'm lookin for somethin a bit different...I may resort to that one, but i want to play out all my options. Thanks in advance. EDIT:It doesn't need to be CF...I'd likely have it painted to match the Neptune color.

Well, there is a hood that is in production right now that will be ready for public sale this summer I would imagine. It is being created specifically for us via a group buy and the prototypes should be ready within the next month or two. There are 10 of us who will be getting the first of the hoods. Everyone else will have to wait until they are for sale to the general public. Probably in June or July. They offer regular CF, Silver CF and Blue CF.

The hood on Psychovibe's car is the RKSport hood. Go to their website or to street-graffiti to order it.

Actually our carbon fiber hoods are a hybrid between invader and M-style arn't they?

Well they aren't really a hybrid the only difference between a normal invader style and ours is that it lacks teh ugly buldge just before the scoop in teh hood that the NORMAL invader style has. Also they won't be available (except the the 10 of us who did the group buy) to the public until around June probably. Hopefully we'll get some pics of the completed hood soon

I would've jumped at the chance.Oh well...such is life i guess...

Oh, SLP Power Products has a hood too. If you can find pics of ballrub's Vibe you can see what it looks like or you can go to their site.

yeah, i've seen the ones from RK Sport and SLP...i'm not too fond of the SLP hood....the NACA style scoops just don't look kosher to me...the one from RK Sport is cool, but i like the one you guys are getting more!
