actually I think my problem may be the wrong intake I ordered one for an 05 on arrival it said for an 05 but I'm thinking it has to be for a 04-back being the instructions seem to be for an 03 I'm just gonna have to remove it and call the company come monday.

Ok..... I know there are some issues with the emissions or something on the 05.. I think if you do a search you will find alot about it. Hope it works out for ya and let us know what happens!

I'm curious, where did you order the CAI from? and which brand is it? It may help the rest of us '05 guys out. I have a Cosmo one in the box waiting to install. The instructions say 2005 Vibe.

The only CAI the Cosmo lists on their website for a 2005 is for the 2005 Vibe AWD with fog lights. Is that the one you ordered? Is your engine drive by cable for drive by wire? If it is an '05 base it is most likely drive by wire. In which case there is not CAI available for a 2005 DBW engine yet, so you'll have to return it and wait for one to come out.

But if you look under the vibe awd 05 it say it will work on all 05 models and I also called to confirm that it was for the base none the less it seams as if it's not
