never leave your vibe with room mates

Post by Mavrik »

making long story short...Well back in Nov 04 I went to Alaska for about a week in total of days I was gone. I left my Vibe at my house while I was gone, the room mates were there so I didn't think there was any harm in it. I got back to find the car where I told them to leave it when I got back so I could drive home. The remote did not unlock the door... I thought it seemed weird but thought maybe they turned it off. I unlocked the car and got in, turned the key and nothing happened at all. Battery was completely flat. I mean they once thought the world was flat but my battery was flatter.I called the room mates and asked them what the heck was up and he told me. "Oh it was flat when I tried to move it over to the hotel parking lot for you so we boosted it and dropped it off." Which did not sit well with me cause my Vibe did not even sit still for 7 days, I did not leave anything on and checking the car over saw all the lights were off and everything. Well I had the dealership come over with a boosterpack so I could start my Vibe which was when I noticed my battery was very loose. Now I knew it was tight last time I had the hood up cause I checked. That did not sit well with me but I could not get any clues from the room mates. They stuck to their story "we didn't do anything to your car."I had it tested for draw and found everything was normal. Now this year in Feb I moved to Alaska and my Vibe stayed in Ontario at my folks house. It sat there from Feb 16 to end of march roughly. My mom said it sat there 4 weeks without being moved or started. Well it started first try when they moved it. Battery still had its charge. This confirms something really did get done to my Vibe while I was gone last year. So do not leave your car with people you do not fully trust when you leave. I have a feeling my room mates removed my battery and drained it through various uses while they were gone. Possibly put it in their POS vehicles that always had problems starting. On a lighter note, my folks love my Vibe, say its quite the peppy little car that accellorates well heh. And they both love that false peddle next to the clutch.

there are tree things in life that you should not borrow or let others have access to:your womanyour caryour money (even if it is your women)and maybe cds...PS: i got a friend that always want to take my car around the block since he just wants to drive it. i do let some buddies drive it since they are responsible, but others are just idiots like this one...

sorry, but since he's been unemployed going on 3 months now, all our money will be intertwined.... so that won't apply. and i have my own vibe that's hella faster... so i don't need his. as for anyone borrowing me? unless it's tom cruise, doubtful! and even then... i still don't think so! lol.

well, in california if you want to be with a girl, keep your money into your pocket or in caiman islands accounts. sorry, bad experiences. not that i have alot of money, but guys do stupid thing for getting some... a woman with integrity like yourself would see that, but all this cali ****s are only after bling bling, and that goche bag. i had an offer for dates that would most likely lead to (removed) if i wanted to get her a guchi bag.about cars, well, is something you do not really borrow to someone you do not know, a family member, gf, close relatives yes. not buddies and even friends.and about women, you never borrow them, is just wrong, but u did put out tom cruize, so i see some optimism out therebtw, i am jk

lol. no prob. i could see you were only joking. and i only need to borrow a few CD's to copy them and then i like to make my own mixes. though we have similar tastes in music, it's not all the same. but that's to be expected, right? and yes, from what i understand, most of the caligirls (not ALL of course but quite a few) seem to be materialistic and only want the pretty face with loads of money. one bad experience with a pretty boy can also cure women of that too! *cough*
