Hello there, Ordered my Eibach Pro Kits last Thursday, so it should be arriving sometime this week. Got a question regarding the rear upper shock mounts. How do you get to the nuts that hold shocks onto the body? Do you have to remove the entire plastic panels along both sides of the trunk? I did not see an access door on these panels (left or right), so I figure they have to be removed. Does this also entail removing the rear seat?

After those are removed, you will see the area with the strut tower nuts/bolts easily accessible. The easiest way is to remove the small cover (directly behind the seats) completely. With that removed, you will be able to remove all the black bolts (about 6 to 8 of them, can't remember exactly) that hold in the main cover and the latches visible.Hopefully that makes sense.
Nsimkins, Thanks! Got them installed today. Whew. Took me 5 hours. The time was taken up by the spring compressor bolts. Hand cranking them was a total chore. Wish I had an air tool on hand. The Vibe looks awesome. I noticed right a way that the dip in the front when braking is GONE. Also, it stays more level around curves (freeway on/off ramps). Ride is just a little bit more harsh, but not by much from stock. These Eibachs were worth it!
I've been thinking about buying springs for awhile. What ia the drop on your springs? What kind of deal did you get on them, and where did you buy them?My S-Blazer Towers up in the air! It's on fair I should have a car scraping the ground!
Hi there, I got my Eibach Pro-Kit from Discount tire. I think they were around $250.00 (free shipping). And it took about 4 days for delivery.I like them alot. They've reduced the roll and pitch of the car dramatically. However, I must add that stiffer shocks are probably needed. When you combine a stiff spring with a weak shock, you get a jiggly ride. It's because the shock cannot effectively dampen the springyness of the Eibachs. I noticed it because I've experienced this setup before. Unfortunenately, only KYB's offer an aftermarket shock. And its marketed at the lower end of their line. So, it's probably close to the stock struts in performance. We'll have to wait until the KONI's are available. I'll probably swap out my front ones for the KONI's.
