strut bar

anyone have any suggestions on what strut bar to use?...anyone here use the megan strut bar, or know if it's any good?....

They really don't do anything in my opinion. Someone did a test last year to see how much travel there was between the two struts. They came to the conclusion that one isn't needed because the strut towers are so close to the firewall. I just like the look of it, that's why I have one. Did you try search? I have the Megan also. Yes, it is for show. The Vibe is already so tight it doesn't flex much at all.

You will probably get a better response by posting this in the Suspension forum. I know that there are several strut tower braces (STB's) available for the Vibe and several of them have been discussed at great length in that forum.MadBill was the one who did the now infamous Vibe steering "flex test" using his Vibe and a pretty ingenious contraption to attempt to measure any body flex that the Vibe might experience during aggressive cornering. His findings were that there was no measurable body flex.
