long brake pedal travel?

Post by remusrm »

I have noticed that my vibe has a long brake pedal? Also the left side seems like it is warped? Could I be wrong or is just normal?

pop the hood check the brake fluid level , check the front wheels, feel how close the "squealer is to the rotor" this will tell you roughly how much pad is left without acutally looking. or go some where for a free brake inspection.

hey remusrm,Try bleeding the brake lines then refill the level in the reservoir. I had a problem with my rear driver's side. Bled the brakes, and now it seem the pedal is a bit more firm and my symptomatic clicking has gone away. If you haven't done that yet, I would suggest that. If the pads are fine and everything else is good, this may be the issue.Dave
