So I'm thinkin about getting a header for the Vibe. Does the Celica header fit on our cars? If so, I was thinking about getting the Hotshot Header. It comes with the 02 bung and everything. So yeah. Thanks for the replies. Inder

Wow this thread got absolutely NO attention. As far as I know, most Celica parts will easily fit into our Vibes; they're extremely similar in design, esp. in the engine-bay vicinity. If I remember correctly, Sport Compact Car used Celica springs on their Project Matrix. Not positive though. On a Celica note, my best friend's mom just traded her minivan in for a 2005 Celica GTS 6-speed with the optional TRD body kit; she's this tiny southern lady and looks ridiculous in this red little race car thing. Friend's girlfriend was in it and apparently she can't SHIFT the thing though.
I don't think that we can get it for our '04s. Here's a post on MO:http://www.matrixowners.com/fo...rpumpThe jist of it is that the '04 has the air pipe on it to blow air into the cat, to heat the cat up a little quicker. Without the extra pipe you'll get a CEL. You can however port and pollish your exhisting header:http://www.matrixowners.com/fo...eaderI think that this could be a DIY project, if you had the right grinder.

The base models dont have the injection pipe.I think the shape of the header runners may be bent in a way that would prevent it from fitting in our engine bays and connecting to the downpipe. If it was a simple swap, I think we'd hear of a lot more Vibe/Matrix owners running around with them. I personally have not heard of any.
