nevermind......... i got some stuff at home depot that holds that frickin gas pedal on tight........ cept now one of the screws on the clutch catches the floormat and picks it up sometimes which gets kind of annoying, so i'm not sure how long i'm gonna keep these pedals on. what are your guys fav's when it comes to pedals? which ones have a nice clean (easy) install?

hi Puckman...Same problem with my Redline Clutch pedal... was annoying as all hell. Ended up switching out to Ichiban pedals. Not as easy to install but not much of a problem. The Clutch pedal doesn't catch to floor mat anymore but the old Redline pedals had already done their damage to the carpet (A nice sized hole where the threads dug in). Not much you can do to prevent the catching on the floor mat, unless you cut some of the treads off. I ended up putting a small nut on the treads to help prevent this from happening but it still did occasionally. You could always shift the floor mat away from where the pedal would catch on it. But eventually, the mat will slide up and catch. Maybe black duct tape to hold the mat down, where the pedal comes down and touches the mat? Wouldn't be very visible and might help.Dave

You might try cutting down a little vacuum plug and gluing it on over the top of the threads.
