GM adding input jack to upcoming vehicles

Hey everyone, GM is FINALLY adding an auxiliary input jack to their vehicles. It looks to be a normal 1/8th inch jack for plugging in different external audio sources (including the iPod). The article linked below says that the first radios with the input jacks will debut in late spring and will be standard on the 2006 Chevy SSR, Chevy Impala and Monte Carlo; Saturn Vue and Ion; Pontiac Solstice; Buick Lucerne and Cadillac DTS. GM is supposedly planning to offer the radios on other new models over the next several years.Curiously, it didn't mention vehicles where it will be an option, so I'm unsure if these are the only 2006 vehicles to receive the input. Also, no word on if it will be an option in addition to built-in XM, or if it takes it's place.I'm guessing it'll come to the Vibe sooner or later. Back when I bought my 03 Vibe and was trying to get an Aux input, my buddy at Delphi told me that they were going to have front aux inputs by 05 or 06. Good to see that he was telling the truth .
