Powder coating billet grills

Post by Ponyota »

Hi, I've been thinking about having my billet grills powder coated. Anyone have any thoughts about this? I don't know anything about powder coating other than its a powder that's baked on. Can I get it done in a custom color? Also, if anyone knows, how much should something like this cost?

I powder coated my roof rails. $20.00 each. the paint is hard as a rock. I dropped one in the driveway and didn't scratch it. basically any color you want. mine were a basic color so it was cheap.

I was concerned how it would hold up, but after seeing that you dropped one and it didn't even scratch I shouldn't have to much to worry about! Now all I have to do is find someone in the area that does this kind of work.

I checked on the Internet and found one place that's close by. I'll give them a call tomorrow. I need to find my phone books, looks like the kiddies decided they wanted to use them and not return em' to their proper place. I'll let ya'll know how much it's going to be as soon as I find out.
