How hard would a 1zz to 2zz swap be and what other parts would be needed?

I am considering buying a 2zz engine if it is easy to swap. It is from an auto XRS. He said it will come with the ECU and manifold. Is this something that can be done and what all would I need to do it?

Ugh, you'd need the whole drivetrain too...wouldn't an SC be cheaper?

Well, I'm sure his reserve isn't set lower than $1k, maybe $1500...the 2zz-GE is a pricey engine and $1k-$1500 would be CHEAP.

I keep hoping another SC will show up. Maybe if I just wait, but this $$$ will burn a hole in my pocket! I am already looking at switching rims or trying to find something else like racing seats or something for it. I keep thinking that I have this dumb-@$$ sponsorship that I could use, but they are such pain in the (removed) to use and I don't even think they help much. I don't know what to do. I wish the damn hood and body kit would come in! Maybe that would calm the mod-bug down a little for a while until something else comes out. Why not add nitrous and a turbo? Could you still run regular gas when not racing?

What would a full nitrous system cost? I have thought about airbags and scissor doors as well, but they too are a little expensive. Yeah, I'm weird and complicated, I know! I want more power and better looks. I have a vinyl kit but I can't put it on until the new fenders come in with the body kit. No thanks! I'll wait for a complete kit like SCVibe? stole from me for a dollar!

Sounds good but I may have to wait for RKSport because I didn't get the rear bumper form Chris. I wanted RKSports rear bumper and I'm not sure when it will be available. I'll keep you posted though!
