wheel weights

Post by satur9 »

i open up my new rims and one of them had a section of wheel weights stuck to the tire,i dont know if it was supposed to be on the rim or not. so i will probably need to get that one balanced.but my question is whats up with these stick on weights they all dont look stuck enough.my factory alloy 16s were balanced with pound ons .why are they claiming pound ons cant be used.these stick ons a visible cheap and ugly.
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!

They are the best way to go for alloy rims. You don't get the corrosion between the weight and rim like you do with bang- on weights. Coated bang ons are better than plain but the stick -ons rule. They usually try to do all the weighting on the back of the rim where you can't see it. I won't use any other weights than stick-on. My Alloy rims on my truck were messed up because of bang-ons. What happens is the disimilar metals create an electrical charge which speeds up the corrosion process.
