She just got it last week, all I did was put in a cd/mp3 player and a billet grille but she has a few plans for it in the future.before it's said, she does plan on lowering it, but she is just trying to get her money in order and find a new job in OKC. She just graduated college.thanks for any opinions.
Looks VERY nice and you have an awsome way of taking pics I like it. The whole US 66 sign reflection and all that. Very nice. And your girl looks happy to. So what are her plans? Turbo, drop the car two inchs, 18" wheels... body kit? CAI?

You take some fine photos my friend. I like the ground level shots, they look brochure quality. You should post some pics on the "arty Vibe" thread.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=15205
cool, i grew up in western ok in a small town, now i live in norman and take pictures of cars for a livingthanks for all the compliments, i will pass the word on to her
Your pictures are awesome!I can see by your picture's that your clading is showing signs of wear. Read this forum and write down the TSB# and make Gm replace it for free.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=10562I have some pretty good picture's of the problem. And there new part looks much better and even helps make the car look a little lower.
so that it what mine was supposed to look like before the transformation, really can't tell you how it rode before i had lowering springs and a CAI on before i could even drive it.love the billet grilles, been tossing that idea around, just haven't dropped the $$$ yet.

she def knows that because her last car (98 nissan 200sx) burned about a quart of oil per 1k miles...so she learned how to put oil in LOLbut yeah, she's not really into it as much as I am, but I've been doing custom cars/trucks for 10 years now

you all hear the story of the girl who came into a dealership and said her car was missing an a black thing that said lio on it? They could not figure out what she ment until she took them to one of their own cars and pointed out the Oil cap.And there is a difference between a girl who is into cars by the means of all those little wal-mart trinkets glued, hung and sparkling from just about everything you can imagine... as opposed to the girl who can tune up a car like the pros and has a lot of car knowledge (ie: my wife )

Oh, I thought Hope was the Wal-Mart modifier? (removed) JUST KIDDING!You're all lucky men to have found car girls. I don't cinsider K-Mart modifiers to be into cars I just consider them into themselves since all the accessories they buy always relate to being a princess or something feminin like a fuzzy steering wheel cover lol. I was going to buy one of my ex's a CAI for her ALero but we broke up before she got it.

So I see that you have a Saturn? My friend belongs to a Saturn forum and sent me the thread you posted on there as well lol. he says "Hey try and gues what kind of car this is" sent me the link of your g/f's pics. I knew I saw that car before somewhere He's got an SC2 what do you have?
Hey, just wondering,....how hard was it to put the grill on? I've looked at the ones on Ebay that appear to be zip-tied on, but I am looking for something a little more secure.
Gunda, trust me, the zip ties sound cheasy but when you feel for yourself how well they hold and how strong they are, you will wonder why you ever said that Man my friend would LOVE your SC2. He is just gettin into cars so I am helping him along. He ordered a short ram intake frmo ebay and I put ti in for him. He just got a new system and everything. I'll have to show him your pic. He's saving for exauhst. The Thermal R&D I think...do you know of any other brands of exhaust specifically made for the 99 SC2?
fine by me, i have hundreds of pictures of my cars, so i'm sure i'll have more of hers soonput on a strut tower brace this past weekend..i know they don't do much but they sure do look pretty

YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
